If you exceed your plan's monthly AI transcription limit (150 for Starter, 600 for Professional, 2,000 for Enterprise), additional transcriptions are billed at a per-visit overage rate. You can also upgrade your plan at any time mid-cycle and the new limits take effect immediately.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the organization admin billing dashboard. Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Upgrades applied mid-cycle are prorated.

Yes. ELLEXMED is a multi-user platform. The Starter plan supports 1 doctor and 2 assistants. Professional supports 5 doctors, 10 assistants, and 3 diagnosticians. Enterprise supports unlimited seats at all role levels.

A Diagnostician is a purpose-built role for laboratory staff who need to submit structured lab results (CBC, BMP, LFT, thyroid, urinalysis) directly into the patient's profile — without access to clinical visit notes, prescriptions, or AI features. Diagnostician seats are available on Professional and Enterprise plans.

Yes. ELLEXMED is HIPAA compliant across all plans. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Organization-scoped data access rules are enforced at the database level. An immutable audit trail is available on Professional and Enterprise plans.

ELLEXMED accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) via Stripe. Enterprise customers can request invoice-based billing and purchase orders by contacting the sales team.

ELLEXMED uses flat monthly pricing — not per-seat fees. Each plan includes a defined number of doctor, assistant, and diagnostician seats at a fixed monthly price. There are no surprise charges for adding individual users within your plan's seat limits.
